Certified Health Data Analyst (CHDA)

About Course

This course is for health care professionals who work with data and information systems, such as acquiring, managing, analyzing, and transforming health care data into useful information. It is a training program that prepares individuals to work as professionals in the field of health data analytics. The course covers topics such as data management, data analysis, data reporting, and data governance. The course also prepares individuals to take the CHDA Exam, which is required to obtain the CHDA certification from the American Health Information Management Association (AHIMA). The course covers various topics related to data analytics, such as data quality, data visualization, data mining, and predictive analytics.

Eligibilities

To become a CHDA, you need to meet one of the following eligibility requirements to sit for the certification exam offered by the American Health Information Management Association (AHIMA):
You must hold an RHIT® or RHIA® credential; or You must have a bachelor’s degree or higher degree from an accredited college or university. While not required, the following are recommended:
Minimum of 3 years of healthcare data experience Experience in data acquisition, data analysis, data management, data interpretation and reporting, and data governance.
